This is usually a POV shot where some things appear blurry or shaky. It has been noted as significant by the creators. It appears to be one of the effects of Nine's Green Injection.

- When the students arrive at the academy, the faculty liaison appears blurry (such as Casey[1] and Vanessa.)[2]
- Jade's vision of Nine's office after waking up from trying to drown herself[3].
- Nine and Dagney after Jade wakes up from a vision in Nine's office[4] (perhaps an effect of being injected with the green liquid.[3]
- After the Cylinder goes "boom", the room briefly looks blurry.[5]
- Zoe after stabbing Amanda.[6]
- Jade's vision after waking up from her dream.[7]
- Nine and Dagney after Fortunato is injected with the green liquid in Nine's office.[8]
- Ike as he's stabbing Abraham.[9]
- David's physical appearance may be an extreme example of this.
