Jun Fukayama is the older (by 30 minutes) twin brother of [[Hisao Fukayama|Hisao]]. He was the more rambunctious brother as compared to the more reserved Hisao. When Jun witnesses [[Reginald Gribbs|Gribbs]] killing their mother so that they can take Hisao, Jun quickly switches shirts with his brother. As a consequence, Jun (as Hisao) is the brother taken away to the academy<ref name="MG9">Morning Glories #9</ref>

Jun (as Hisao) is seen again once Hisao (pretending to be Jun) joins the academy. By now, Jun(as Hisao) is a completely loyal and well-respected member of the academy (referred to as "captain" Fukayama). Hisao(as Jun) is caught trying to sneak out of the dorms by his brother <ref name="MG2">Morning Glories #2</ref><ref name="MG9">Morning Glories #9</ref>. Hisao(as Jun) has entered the academy in order to save his brother who he fears may be brainwashed. Hisao(as Jun) confronts his brother with their true identities. However, Jun now believes that he really is Hisao and attacks Hisao(as Jun) in fury. The fight is broken up by Gribbs who sends Jun (as Hisao) back to his room and Hisao (as Jun) to detention with the other Glories.

They fight, Hisao falls to the ground and is about to be hurt badly when Jun is ambushed by [[Guillaume]].  He is later seen to be fine and entering the abandoned school with his friends carrying robes.  They are preparing to conduct the "ceremony" in the hopes of ending the situation and are last seen entering the ceremony room with a sacrificial goat.

Jun Fukayama is the older (by 30 minutes) and more rambunctious twin brother of the more-reserved Hisao. While they were children, Jun was abducted by faculty from Morning Glories Academy, and was forcibly separated from his younger twin and mother. He was taken to the the Academy to be admitted as a student, where he was indoctrinated into believing that he is in fact Hisao.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Jun lived in Tokyo with his mother and twin brother, Hisao. When he was eleven, the family was visited by Georgina Daramount and Reginald Gribbs, who offered to admit both brothers into the Academy. Upon discovering that Jun was ineligible due to his date of birth, the pair rescind Jun's admission. Their mother is adamant that the pair be kept together, prompting Gribbs to kill her on Daramount's orders.

Jun chances upon the scene, and flees to warn Hisao. While he ran upstairs, he hears Daramount order Gribbs, in English, to take only Hisao - the boy in the blue shirt.  Wishing to protect his brother, Jun takes Hisao's shirt, and hides him in their room while allowing himself to be captured. Thinking that they have captured Hisao and that Jun somehow managed to escape, Daramount sets fire to the house, and takes Jun away.[1]

The Academy[]

Jun is taken to the Academy, where he becomes thoroughly indoctrinated and believed that he is Hisao Fukayama. He gains a position of power, and other students defer to him as Captain Fukayama.
