Morning Glories #18
Ceremonial brown robes are a common motif in the series. They resemble monk's robes (perhaps an association with the academy's past as a monastery). They have been seen on Reginald Gribbs and company[1], during Jade Ellsworth's dream[2], and during The Ceremony.[3]
When Hunter and Dr. Ellsworth approached the ruins of the school, they saw many people wearing the robes.[4]
